Utilising existing vendor API’s, Nebulas is able to develop custom applications that plug-in to the various aspects of your security infrastructure in order to streamline security operations and simplify day-to-day security management. From a few lines of bespoke code on an existing appliance to a complete client-server application with backend database, we’re happy to help.
nDev solutions are often the outcome of a wider Security Operations Review process performed by Nebulas in order to identify areas of operational efficiency.

Engagement Process
 

Our engagement process typically follows the steps below:
1. Requirements gathering with you either over the phone or during a face-to-face meeting
2. The design of a functional specification for your agreement
3. If applicable, we will design a small proof of concept code or mock-up of the desired interface
4. Development begins Typically we will work on a fixed price project, so the risk is almost entirely with us in ensuring we deliver you a working solution.

Deliverables

We will deliver the complete code for you to test within the agreed timescale. In our experience, once you’ve got your hands on the finished product it’s likely you’ll want to make a couple of minor adjustments or additions to your original specification hence we advise on including development time for two minor code modifications during the scoping exercise. As standard you will also receive a support and maintenance contract (if required) which will cover any updates, patching and bug fixes. Alternatively we can design a bespoke service contract depending on your needs.

We have an excellent understanding of Java, C# and .NET languages as well as PHP, Ruby and Bash scripting. We support multiple browsers typically through HTML 5,
CSS3 and AJAX.

We also have extensive experience working with Oracle, SQL, Postgres and MySQL databases. Our work also extends to mobile application deployment on iOS and Android devices.
